EAYSF seeks to give back to the community, in the same way as Eric.

Yearly fundraisers and generous donations allow EAYSF to offer numerous programs to the community, all in an attempt to provide soccer players with an avenue to continue their development. Below are highlights of these programs.

    • Upward Soccer - EAYSF continues to support the Upward-Bound Soccer program of First United Methodist Church, in Marion. In prior years, up to 80 children have participated in the program, which seeks to give younger players an avenue to learn and love the game of soccer.
    • Travel Soccer - EAYSF supported Marion's U-12 travel team in the Fall and Spring of 2015. Beginning the Fall of 2016, EAYSF will support U-12 and U-14 travel teams playing in the SwVA RUSH soccer club.
    • Scholarships - EAYSF awards scholarships to graduating male and female seniors each year, totaling $1,500 per year.
    • Facilities - EAYSF is actively seeking to develop a soccer-specific complex in Marion.
